Z-Trip
Considered to be one of the best live performance DJs ever, by both fans and peers he is the one DJ who can lay claim to being among the first new-school turntablists to incorporate thunderous rock riffs, right alongside meaty funk beats, swinging soul riffs and old hip-hop breaks.
Z-Trip consistently headlines sold-out shows around the world and has been personally asked by the Rolling Stones, Linkin Park, Cypress Hill, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Aerosmith, among others to join them on the road.
Z-Trip (born Zach Sciacca) hails from the mashup school of hip hop, yet is fluent in many types of DJing. A Queens, NY native, DJ Z-Trip became widely known over the internet when his collaboration with DJ P, Uneasylistening, Vol. 1, was released in 2001. Only 1000 copies were made, but were distributed freely. Shifting Gears marks Z-Trip's major label debut. He is joined in Australia by MC Supernatural who also features on the album.
