Stray Cats come back for a farewell

American rockabilly trio the Stray Cats return to Australia in February 2009 as part of their final world tour. The group, led by guitarist Brian Setzer, will begin their tour in Perth on February 15. They will take in dates in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Before heading to Australia, the group will undertake a similar farewell tour in Europe. Formed in 1979, the band found success in the early 1980s and has split and re-grouped several times. Tickets for all shows go on sale on July 30.
