Former Gunners member arrested for drug possession

Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steve Adler was arrested in Los Angeles last Friday for alleged possession of drugs. The 43-year-old was taken into custody at 4am after police received a call about a man creating a disturbance and refusing to leave a home. He has reportedly been charged with possession of a narcotic and being under the influence. An original member of Guns N' Roses, Adler was booted from the band in 1990 due to his struggle with drug addiction, an affliction which resulted in two strokes and has left him with impaired speech. Ironically, Adler has recently finished filming the second season of MTV's Celebrity Rehab and is slated to star in its spin-off Sober Living.
