Christian metal guitarist loses faith, gets fired

Christian hardcore metal juggernaut Haste the Day has parted ways with guitarist and founding member Jason Barnes after he chose to part ways with God. After much praying, the popular American band decided they could not call themselves a Christian band while possessing a member who no longer believes in Jesus. Barnes is the second member to fall off the Haste the Day wagon after original lead vocalist Jimmy Ryan announced his decision to leave the band in late 2005.
