After an initial postponement, the Australian segment of Mary J Blige's tour has been cancelled altogether. The revered R&B icon was to grace our shores for the first time ever in June for four special performances. However the original run of dates - initially postponed to November - have now had to be cancelled due to scheduling problems and Blige's personal commitments. Promoter Michael Chugg states that they had "tried a number of alternatives" before having to cancel the tour and pledged "we will get Mary to Australia one day and I hope it will be soon, she is a superstar". Refunds for ticket holders will be available at the point of purchase.
